Description

in my system I have several mozilla addons installed. If I install greasemonkey alone everything's fine. But when I add the aideRss addon greasemonkey stops showing me the dialog box when I click on "manage userscripts". When I uninstall aideRss, greasemonkey works fine again.

is it a common issue? or mine only?

In researching, I found this: http://gr.aiderss.com/

It appears to be a greasemonkey script, also available as a standalone extension. Which do you have installed?

Also: Does anything appear in the Error Console when you click 'Manage', but the dialog does not appear?

This appears to wholly be a problem with their extension. It's coded in a very sloppy manner, just a copy/paste of GM's code, overwriting a large portion of GM itself.

This is a known problem with my Greasemonkey compiler (lives at http://svn.devjavu.com/greasemonkey/branches/compiler/xpi-build/) I keep making it better, slowly, but it takes time and me knowing what I'm doing in the GM code ;) The reasons for creating this over the PHP compiler that is known has been well discussed on gm-dev
